Taylor Sims - Miss North Louisiana & Miss Louisiana USA 2023 Contestant

We asked Taylor a few questions about the upcoming Miss Louisiana USA pageant that she will be competing in.

- (Pageant Realm:) How are you feeling about the pageant now all the contestants have been announced and it's getting closer?

- (Taylor:) One word- AMAZING! To have this great opportunity to be able to compete in the Miss Louisiana USA pageant and share my platform that can reach countless people is truly a blessing.

I am honored that God chose and entrusted me to compete for the title of Miss Louisiana USA 2023 and people’s choice.

I have met so many wonderful people during this process. Having the opportunity to represent my city and my state is simply amazing.

- (PR) How has your prep been building up to Miss Louisiana USA?

- (T) My pageant prep has been a wonderful experience. Spending time in the gym to make sure that I am at my best, physically and mentally has been invaluable.

I have been shopping a lot (who doesn’t like to go shopping?), shooting with one of the best pageant photographers (Damion, The Headshots Guy), getting to know and working with great makeup professionals, including my makeup artist for the Miss Louisiana USA pageant (Little Miss Artistry, LLC by Ariee) and being around and learning from the incredible professionals and directors from the Miss Louisiana USA pageant.

- (PR) What are you most excited about?

- (T) I am extremely excited for every aspect of the pageant, but I am definitely ready to get on the stage, give it my all, let my light shine, and bring the crown home. I am also thrilled to see all the contestants that have become my friends from previous pageants I’ve competed in. I can’t wait to build bonds and long-lasting friendships with the other contestants I get the privilege of meeting for the first time!

- (PR) Are there any sponsors/partners you want to give a shoutout to?

- (T) I am truly grateful for the countless supporters, friends, family, businesses, and sponsors who believe in me on this amazing journey to compete in the Miss Louisiana USA pageant. I would not be here without the love of God and the prayers and love of all my supporters.
