Ava Grace Mitchell - Miss Cenla Teen & Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2023 Contestant

We asked Ava Grace a few questions about the upcoming Miss Louisiana Teen USA pageant that she will be competing in.

- (Pageant Realm:) How are you feeling about the pageant now all the contestants have been announced and it's getting closer?

- (Ava Grace:) I’d be lying by saying I’m not nervous, but I have to admit I’m really more excited than anything. I am excited to meet so many wonderful ladies from across the state but also to finally be able to show what I’ve been praying and practicing for the last few months.

- (PR:) How has your prep been building up to Miss Louisiana USA?

- (AG:) Pageant prep has been great! You know there’s a lot that goes into preparing for this caliber of a pageant that most people don’t realize. I’ve been working with my modeling and interview coaches, making sure my outfits for each event are ready with the right accessories and trying to savor every second because it will be over in a flash. Through it all Ive learned alot about myself and cant wait to share it on stage! The best thing has been all of the gorgeous clothes Ive been able to wear and the worst is not being able to indulge in cookies and king cake.

- (PR:) What are you most excited about?

- (AG:) I cannot wait to share “Georgia” my gown with everyone. In the pageant world we keep the gown a secret until the stage and I am ready to show her off! Also I can’t wait to see who my roommate is because we are going to have amazing fun together!

- (PR:) Are there any sponsors/partners you want to give a shoutout to?

- (AG:) I have such amazing sponsors who have helped me on this journey to Miss Teen LA USA. I’d like to thank Bank of Montgomery, Hometown Mortgage of Natchitoches, and AKA construction all who support people and communities across the state of Louisiana. Addie’s Boutique who personally styled me and chose each of my clothing pieces complete with accessories and shoes, Hair by Brooke Fontenot who has helped me keep my hair as healthy as possible and transformed my short hair to long hair in seconds. My church, CWC in Alexandria for allowing me to use the stage, gym, and facilities whenever I needed. Lastly, my parents because without them none of this would be possible.
