We asked Ava a few questions about the upcoming Miss Louisiana Teen USA pageant that she will be competing in.

- (Pageant Realm:) How are you feeling about the pageant now all the contestants have been announced and it's getting closer?

- How has your prep been building up to Miss Louisiana USA?

- What are you most excited about?

- Are there any sponsors/partners you want to give a shoutout to?

- (Ava:) So, for me as pageant time has gotten closer, I haven’t really become nervous it’s just been excitement, since this is my first pageant. It may sound strange but if I didn’t win I wouldn’t be upset. It really is not my main goal. My first goal is to just make new friends and be an encouragement! Prepping has been a BLAST ! I love shopping and hunting for a good deals so I’ve been doing just that as we approach pageant day. And sticking to my budget while eating TONS of chick fil a number ones with American cheese. Add a Diet Coke with that!!! (My comfort food) Most of all I’m just excited to make new friends and advance my social impact initiative It’s not about me. It’s about the way I make others feel during this process. Do they feel encouraged, accepted, and genuine sisterhood. It’s how I’m making an impact and that’s what I’m most excited and eager for.
