Alyssa Landry - Miss UL Lafayette & Miss Louisiana USA 2023 Contestant

We asked Alyssa a few questions about the upcoming Miss Louisiana USA pageant that she will be competing in.

- (Pageant Realm:) How are you feeling about the pageant now all the contestants have been announced and it's getting closer?

- (Alyssa:) I am feeling super blessed and excited to experience this opportunity with such talented and powerful women! It’s hard to believe pageant weekend is around the corner, but I am so eager for it to begin!

- (PR) How has your prep been building up to Miss Louisiana USA?

- (A) Throughout my pageant prep, I’ve been reminding myself to focus on the things I can control in the process. All I can prepare for is how to best present my authentic self and openly display the qualities than make me unique.

- (PR) What are you most excited about?

- (A) I am simply excited to represent my university and have the opportunity to represent my state! To me, there isn’t one particular part of the competition more compelling than the other because the experience as a whole is something I will forever be appreciative of!

- (PR) Are there any sponsors/partners you want to give a shoutout to?

- (A) I would like to recognize my family, friends, and mentors that are too many to list. I have felt extremely loved and supported throughout the preparation process. I am so grateful for the generosity, advice, and encouragement given by each of these people!
